Pligun® LWI® 24 is an intermediate temperature insulating gun mix. A terrific combination of good strength, moderate density, and service limit, make this gun mix suitable as either a backup insulating component or a hot face lining in non-erosive environments. Product advantages include:
- Good CCS and hot strength
- Medium density: ~85 pcf
- 2450°F serviced limit
- Moderate thermal conductivity
- Good volume stability
- Moderate acid resistance
- Good gunability
